Eco – Savers Program

Republic Act 9003 otherwise known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, mandates the practice of waste reduction thru Reuse, Reduce, Recycle. Waste Segregation or separating waste from the source according to types is also required. The program aims to educate children and ultimately gets them to practice the R’s of Eco logical Waste Management which are Reduce, Reuse, Repair, and Recycle. The Municipality believes that one of the better ways of getting this program possible is thru school children. The involvement of the school children will not only make them appreciate value of their environment, but will also develop in them a culture of savings, which they will hopefully carry as they grow older.
