Binalonan Mayor Ramon N. Guico Jr. on February 14 solemnized the marriage of 46 couples during the Kasalang Bayan 2020 held at the Binalonan Municipal Hall Grounds.

Before conducting the civil mass wedding ceremony, Guico gave his message and pieces of advice to the couples from the different barangays of Binalonan. The couples of various ages  have already been living together for several years.

In front of the municipal officials, their family members, relatives, friends, and guests, the couples wore their wedding rings, made their vows, shared their cakes and drank their wine.

Together with the members of the Small Action Force who also did some parts in the event, the couples were asked to dance. Surprise gifts were given to the brides and grooms who participated in the dance.

An annual event during the town fiesta, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Binalonan thru the Local Civil Registry conducts the free Kasalang Bayan to promote the significance of marriage.

Municipal Civil Registrar Amor Asuncion Nitura wishes to continue the free Kasalang Bayan to help more couples strengthen their bond as couples.
