Binalonan Mayor Ramon N. Guico Jr. on December 16 lauded Pangasinan II school-based feeding program during the Division Program Implementation Review on School-Based Feeding Program and Awarding Ceremony for Elementary held at Ramon J. Guico Sr. Sports and Civic Center.
“I am very much supportive of your feeding program which I believe is a sound investment in education. I hope the feeding program will meet its objectives,” said Guico.
The mayor added, “Several bills have already been filed to institutionalize the school feeding program. My son, Congressman Guico, and I believe for the enhancement of the physical well-being of the school children.”
Guico congratulated the division officials, feeding program implementers, and the awardees for the successful implementation of the program and said, “We succeed as one.”
Vice Mayor Melicio Patague II, in his message and in behalf of Congressman Ramon Guico III said, “The mind is useless if the body is weak. There should be a balance between the strength of the mind and strength of the body.
Given recognition were Public Schools District Supervisors, School Heads, and School Feeding Coordinators and the Division Qualifiers.
Awarded were the Outstanding Implementers by Congressional District, Division Outstanding School-Based Feeding Program Implementers.
