LGU Binalonan is blood service awardee UEP receives platinum award

LGU Binalonan received a certificate of commendation as a Blood Service Awardee for 2019 from the Philippine Red Cross Pangasinan Chapter held on the 2nd day of August at the Monarch Hotel, Calasiao, Pangasinan.

The commendation was awarded to LGU Binalonan in recognition of its commitment, heroism and volunteerism as blood donor and partner in giving hope, courage and life to those who are in dire need of blood.

Receiving the award in behalf of Municipal Mayor, Ramon N. Guico Jr. were Councilors Dra. Josephine Caburnay and Dr. Noel Apolinario O. Bautista during the Cordiality Night of PRC-PC.

Meanwhile, University of Eastern Pangasinan (UEP), a local university owned and managed by the LGU of Binalonan was also a recipient of a Blood Services Platinum Award and UEP NSRC Coordinator Oscar Pulido was given a Blood Galloners Club award.

It can be recalled that the Municipality of Binalonan in 2017 made a trending news in the country and abroad for having its municipal officials headed by then Mayor Ramon V. Guico III, now 5th district representative of Pangasinan dressed in vampires during its blood letting event.
