Binalonians hurdle Laro ng Lahi- in pajamas!

Who would have thought that playing traditional games will be more fun while wearing pajamas? Peculiar as it seems, Binalonians found joy and excitement in playing the Laro ng Lahi in their sleepwear at the Municipal Town Hall grounds on Feb. 17. Palo sebo, tug of war, threading the needle relay, tailing/catching the pig, bursting balloons, Maria went to Town, and water melon game were some of the interesting contests. Mayor Ramon Guico III, his wife Maan and their three children joined the event. A brunch through a boodle fight prepared by different sectors of the town capped the day’s activities. Three best food booths were chosen. The Binalonan DepEd Division 1 ranked first, followed by the farmers’ group, and the barangay treasurers’ booth.
 
The event was featured in ABS-CBN’s Bandila and Umagang Kay Ganda.
