Jan 19, 2018 | News

As long as one possesses a strong faith in God’s promise of salvation, no matter how many times he falls down, he can always start on a clean slate.

In celebration of the yuletide season, the Urdaneta City Parole and Probation Office (CPPO) brought hope to probationers, parolees and pardonees of the towns of Binalonan, Laoac and San Manuel during its General Assembly and Christmas Program on Dec. 14.

Said clients are presently under the care and supervision of the CPPO through the Community Based Correction Program in consonance with Presidential Decree No. 968, otherwise known as the Adult Probation Law.

CPPO Officer Mr. Hercules Tandoc said that it is the mission of their agency to rehabilitate and reform probationers, parolees and pardonees to become useful and productive citizens of their respective communities.

Binalonan Mayor Ramon V. Guico III sent his Christmas greetings to all the clients of the CPPO with a token and gesture of support as financial assistance in the undertaking of the endeavour through his representative Mrs. Teresita E. Dacpano from the Press and Publication Office.

Mrs. Dacpano mentioned the 3 Core Values of the administration, “Maka-Diyos. Malinis and Magaling” with a brief explanation of these values in relation to their status as probationers, parolees and pardonees.

The clients with their families had their fun day with parlor games, special numbers and some groups presented dance numbers with gusto.

The raffle draw with prizes and gift giving made the day meaningful and happier to each of the client.

Meanwhile students from the Senior High School of Urdaneta City National High School entertained the audience with their Christmas dance presentations .

The occasion was hosted by Uniza D. Flora and Mary Joy Aquino.
